Relational Laboratory

Slow way down - meet what is - and feel yourself among others

Rel-Lab-FB.png

Welcome to our relational research laboratory.
A space to explore, investigate and shift your patterns when being with others.

When it comes to engaging others we all carry patterns that root in our upbringing and conditioning.

Unfortunately they often take us away from our authenticity – so we hold back, compensate, play it cool, feel insecure or vigilant, become flirty, unable to feel our needs or compromise our actual wants and desires.

We are so often caught between being authentic and being in relationship. Yet I tell you both is possible simultaneously.

This weekend is dedicated to investigating what happens in you when you are confronted with fellow humans. We invite curiosity and create a non-judgmental field where it's about gathering data about how you behave unconsciously so you can make conscious decisions. We will practice alternatives to your usual behaviors so in the future you will be able to shift your patterns to make new experiences – experiences that are more aligned with what your really want and need.

Through slowing our impulses down and going with the pace of your nervous system we will explore what happens in us and what we really need to feel safe, seen and in authentic expression while being among others:

  • Connecting with yourself, your body and your nervous system first before you move into connecting with others.

  • Creating an inner sense of safety, through getting to know your nervous system and how to regulate it.

  • Tuning into your somatic YES, NO and MAYBE as well as the authentic expression of your needs, longings & desires.

  • Finding your unique individual pace in connection to yourself & others, through slowing down enough to notice the subtle signals from your body and letting them guide you moment to moment.

During this weekend we will explore and play with:

  • boundaries & embodied consent

  • nervous system regulation

  • relational trauma awareness

  • embodiment & movement practices

  • authentic communication & heart opening sharing

  • relational needs, longings & desires

  • group field wisdom – supporting each other and growing together

NOTE:

  • This is not a dating workshop yet you will encounter real and deep connections.

  • We won't just explore the romantic patterns but relational patterns that show up in any kind of relationships.

  • This workshop does not contain any nudity, erotic intimacy or activation of sexual energy.

  • Your insecurities, flaws and relational weirdness is highly welcomed.

  • All humans are welcome, regardless of relationship status, gender and previous experience.

ABOUT ROUVEN:

Rouven is a relationship & intimacy artist. While continuously working through his behavioral patterns, relational trauma and partnership experiences Love and Integrity appeared to be his biggest teachers.

Working as a relationship counselor for the past 13 years he specializes in conscious partnership, bringing trauma-sensitivity and somatic-approaches into the field of relational work. His research focuses on the correlation between the nervous system, needs, trauma, behavioral patterns and upbringing with relational dynamics. This is the basis for 'Evolutionary Relating' - a conscious and intentional way to use the field of relationships as an incubator for personal and cultural growth and development.

While passing on his perspectives, experiences and expertise he is noticed as "a guide of the guides, a teacher of teachers, a liver of life and an embodied expression of Love."
